Ashley N. Manz, MPA, is currently the program coordinator for the National Security Studies program at New Jersey City University (NJCU), as well as an adjunct professor at the NJCU School of Business.
NJCU’s National Security Studies department offers the first Doctorate of Science in Civil Security Leadership, Management and Policy in the U.S., the first comprehensive graduate program of its kind in the Metropolitan area and is the only institution of higher education in the state offering a bachelor’s degree in Security.
A National Center of Academic Excellence as designated by the National Security Agency in conjunction with the Department of Homeland Security, these degree programs are designed for practicing security professionals as well as students seeking careers in the field. Course work is offered at our satellite campuses in Wall, NJ and Edison, NJ.
The department is home to the Dr. Dorothy E. Denning Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education and offers its students certificate programs to promote the study of Information Assurance and develops opportunities for students in the area of Cyber Security.
