John Leo, Jr. is a Supervisory Special Agent managing Computer Network Intrusion investigations for the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Newark Field office.

Mr. Leo has been an FBI agent since 2006, working first in the New York Field office and then transferring to FBI Cyber HQ in 2012.  As a case agent, he has worked high profile cases such as Operation Cardshop, Lulzsec, the JPMorgan Chase breach, and the indictment of 7 Iranian hackers for their role in the attacks against the US Financial sector, which has resulted in numerous domestic and international arrests.

Mr. Leo holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Computer Science from St. John’s University and is the 2016 recipient of the FBI Director’s Award for Excellence for Cyber Investigations.
